The following tips from various sources, some from other successful businesses we know, some of our Home-Based and Small Business Support Group and a number of meetings we've developed by trial and error.
Some of the ways in which clients are: contact with previous employers, mailing lists, cold call your target market, meetings and seminars to attend to your target market (conventions for doctors, lawyers, computer seminars), participation of the local Chamber of Commerce meetings;Join groups of your target market, if your audience is using a particular system, for example, accountants use the SafeGuard system, contact them and them you're willing to teach them how to use the system, or you can do to tell them.
