Poor Referees bordering Italy in the 2002 World Cup

In Japan / South Korea 2002 World Cup, Italy literally had 5 great goals allowed in three straight games. I doubt, given that throughout the history of professional football another team so many bad calls in three straight games. Now, on the one hand I agree with the critics that no objects near their full potential in Italy in this tournament by not playing well together as a team said, and used too stubborn defensive tactics. I also agree with the calls werehonest error, not corruption. But on the other hand, I think Italy deserve tons of sympathy for too many bad calls against them too close together. Indeed, the fact is that none of the eight teams that reached the quarter-finals in 2002 would have received if she had not allowed five goals in their last 3 games ..... Italy in 2002 quarter-final place despite their skills on the field (as in the 2006 World Cup reached Brazil earned reachedQuarter-finals, despite any objects in the vicinity of their ability on the field).

The standard of football referees in the Premier League

What do you think of the current standard of football referees in the English Premier League? Do you believe that a system of video replays to be introduced to help the referee to stop and what are some major mistakes? These two questions are things that me and my friends on a regular debate, especially after a few beers.

I never forget attending a football match a few years ago, which was played in one of the competitions among thePremiership. It was a very important match between my favorite team, Birmingham City and one of their local rivals Stoke City. It was a really important game because Birmingham need to win the game, as they were in danger of falling into the season concerned. The three points for the victory would certainly have helped in their efforts to survive.

With only ten minutes from the Birmingham game was a tense game led by one goal to nil. When one of the StokePlayers ran in Birmingham goalkeeper, the ball in his hands. The ball slipped from his hands and one of the other players Stoke pushed her into an unguarded net.

I was convinced that the referee saw what was clearly a mistake of our goalkeeper, for I am convinced that all other fans in the stadium. To my supporters and all other Birmingham, fright, he did not, and let the goal stand. I'm normally a very quiet person, but was so angry, it was wrong. The followingwhat happened was one of the Birmingham fans ran onto the pitch and the referee hit full in the face. The players were off the field, while order was restored.

I remember the time that the referee had deserves to be beaten, but I later changed my mind when I had time to calm down. We all are capable of a mistake, of course.

I truly believe in the argument that video replays should be introduced in some capacity, as they would in this case, the objectivenot allowed to stand.

Every week in the Premiership, many errors that a huge impact on the outcome of various games. football is big business, as these days with the players to such large sums of money, but we must introduce something to ensure that Some of these errors during the game, not more and not just things, after they discuss.

I actually feel sorry for the football referees in those days. With somany games on television, they are now more than ever taken a look. Even if they receive only one decision to be wrong in the course of the game is still critical.

I personally think that the general level of the referees in the Premier League very well and that we start to go back to these people. But I want every umpire to be interviewed after each game the same way as the Football Manager. In this way, explaining the followerswhy certain decisions during the game. It can also be demonstrated requires a response from some of the major incidents and whether they think they made the right decision, and comment on the game.
